Full Vs Broad Spectrum

CBD products and their cannabinoid profiles are generally broken down into three categories: Full Spectrum CBD, Broad Spectrum CBD, and CBD Isolate.
Full Spectrum CBD contains the full cannabinoid profile of the plant including THC up to the 0.3% THC legal limit. The product contains all the natural fatty acids and terpenes originally present in the plant as they remain through the extraction process.
Broad Spectrum CBD maintains the cannabinoid profile but is further refined to remove THC. These products are often labeled as “THC-Free” or “0.0% THC”. COA’s should show THC as “Non Detectable” for these products.
CBD that is fully refined to 99.9% purity and has all cannabinioids removed is known as CBD Isolate. This is normally in a powder form and while it does offer some therapeutic benefits, you really need the full cannabinoid profile to maximize the full potential of the product. This is why our products traditionally fall into either the Full or Broad Spectrum categories.
